Child Abuse

February 5, 2010

Child Abuse is never a pleasant topic. And, there are so many different types of child abuse — to include parental kidnapping. Some people refer to parental kidnapping as “Parental Alienation Syndrome” or PAS, which is mostly covered in a separate page. This blog page, “Child Abuse” is about how the system fails families and how children can also be victimized  by Social Service’s Child Protective Services — the very agency intended to help them!

Whatever kind of child abuse transpires, it is a crime against our children.

I offer frank discussions, statistics, intervention approaches, and information available to assist in the healing process. Abused children as adults offer incredible insight into what it is to be an abused child. While I enjoyed the most secure childhood possible  and am not a victim of this crime, I do know people who are.
