Cheaters

If you read my intro page on Liars, then you can guess that I think cheating is a form of lying.

Let’s see — how many forms of cheating can we come  up with?

Cheating on an exam, cheating while playing a game, cheating on your significant other, and cheating death are only a few ways to cheat. How about cheating on your diet, cheating on your taxes, or cheating your employees. Opps, so if we “cheat death” does that mean that we are still lying, cheating or stealing? I’m not sure…

I predict that this topic will spur a lot of comments from my readers. Tell me  what you think about “cheating” or share a story in which you either cheated someone and they found out — 0r you were a victim of being cheated.

If you are the one in your story doing the lying, cheating, or stealing, you might want to remain anonymous because as the old adage says, “Nobody likes a cheater.”

If your argument is that sometimes telling a white lie, taking what is yours anyway, or cheating is okay as long as you don’t get caught, be sure to tell us that, too — but don’t leave out your explanation or theoretical conclusion.

Let the debate begin!
